In the hills above Benissa, Arenys represents the BIO approach at full scale. A three-level renovation of 329 square metres on an 802-square-metre plot, undertaken with speed, precision, and an uncompromising eye for material quality.
Stone, concrete, natural plasters, and honest timber across every level. For Stany and Aurélie, who arrived to see it the day after signing, it was love at first sight. A project that demonstrates that beauty does not require more time: only more intention.
The BIO methodology developed by Jessica Bataille Group starts with a single conviction: that the fastest way to create a beautiful home is to make good decisions at every stage, without hesitation. Arenys was executed under tight timeline constraints, but never under material ones.
Stone was sourced from the immediate region. Plasters were mixed on site. Timber was chosen for its grain rather than its price. The project moved quickly because the decisions were made clearly: no revisions, no second-guessing, no compromise on the elements that would define the character of the home for decades.
329 square metres.
Three levels.
Completed with intention.
Stany Wilms and Aurélie Huygens signed for Arenys without seeing it in person. They arrived in Benissa the following day, walked through a renovation still in its final stages, and understood immediately what it was becoming. Their response was one of the clearest affirmations this project has produced.
